No Bear Killed???????

Well, it looks like Kentucky's first ever bear season might have been a complete bust. If telecheck results are correct, ZERO bear were killed in this weekends historic hunt. I know snow was a big issue in the three county area but I'm shocked no bear were taken.

Not really surprised. I'll have to come back to Ky. and give a few pointers on Bear Hunting. Unlike Brown Bear or Grizzly, the Black bear is very "wily" and in your part of the country will probably opt for more nocturnal behavior. They don't follow trails or habituate themselves like a deer will. Nope, bears follow their noses wherever that scent takes them. Scotty-Alaska
